Remember to tap focus! Tap your phone screen to focus on the point of the picture you'd like to highlight. #protip: open Instagram Stories and use "focus" when taking photos of people with food items for a more professional portraiture look. 

STORYTELLING

A photo is worth a thousand words, no? What is the story behind this moment? Have family reach into the photo to cut the bird, or snap that photo of your younger cousin eating that picture-perfect cupcake. Tell the story of your gathering through food.
