Duties and Responsibilities: Gourmet-to-Go Manager
- • Manage the daily operation of the department.
- • Set up display case with prepared and gourmet foods that include meat, fish, pastas, side dishes, and salads.
• Responsible for ordering products and supplies.
• Responsible for freshness, quality of food, and dating.
• Maintain food handling and hygiene standards and procedures.
• Interview, supervise, schedule, and train staff.
• Manage employee job performance and evaluations.
• Dynamically sell product by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions.
• Adjust food items according to customer requests and sales.
• Maintain knowledge of food ingredients and allergens.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen staff and chefs.
• Advise store manager of opportunities to improve sales and profitability.
